I like this activity especially for young children in  Kindergarten. However, I
feel it would be best for children to use construction paper to build their own
polyominoes and other shapes. This way they can experiment with making new and
different shapes. They can also conjecture on what shapes are and the various
ways to make them. They can see and discuss the difference between a triangle,
square and a polyominoes. Would adding more shapes as the ones I mentioned make
this a better program?
