If your working on PC try either of these:
First on your keyboard make sure the Num Lock is on, then hold down the Alt key
and type 0247 on the number pad of your keyboard, release the Alt key and you
should see ÷.
Or go to to the Start menu select Character Map from the Accessories, System
Tools and use it to copy and paste your ÷.
You may even be able to copy it from here ÷ and use it.
