side vertical to the base, and the right hand nonparallel side sloping to the
left, we could draw continuous trapezoids, rotating that right hand line
clockwise. It will not be argued that the figure is not a trapezoid when the
line slopes to the left. Neither will it be argued that it is not when the line
slopes to the right. So, why should it be argued that the figure is not a
trapezoid when the line is vertical, making the figure also a rectangle? There
is nothing nonfinite, or unusual occurring during the transition.
