favorites for calculators and it is best to use the same one as the teacher. My
daughter took math through grade 11 (New York State Regents exams Math A and
Math B) and had no teachers who used graphing calculators. I have taught math
through grade 8, and used the TI-34II, which is not a graphing calculator, but
is very inexpensive. In addition, the preferred calculator in college will not
be the calculators available today, when college is 5 years away.
