For a resource, I think there are about 80+ terms starting with p on my
mathwords index... http://www.pballew.net/etyindex.html

ranging from Pacioli's summa de arithmetica... to  the Pythagorean thm for
spherical triangles, with pareto, parsec and per-cent along the way...
