Intersecting at a specific point on the graph.
Have students predict coordinates on a line graph that would start at the top of
the graph and descend to the bottom intersecting specific points along the way.
Have students predict coordinates on a line graph that would start at the bottom
of the graph and ascend to the top intersecting specific points along the
way.
Have students predict how two lines on a graph could intersect at a specific
point on the graph and determine the slope of each line.
Any suggestions for expanding this activity at a more challenging level for
students needing additional challenge, for example, our Math Explorer's
students?
