just a game, they are still learning. To focus their attention on learning
rather than just gaming, supplemental questions would need to be asked. Give
them a specific task (aligned with the curriculum for graphing, rates, algebraic
concepts...) that they must use the program to complete. Have the students make
predictions and use the "game" to see if their predictions are correct. Any
visual learning device is going to enhance student learning and performance.
