As an application/tool designer, I'm

MY ANSWER: I'm always looking for something to challenge top-level students.
Most tools are aimed either at the middle or below, so I usually have to adapt
my own activity around a tool, or not use technology at all. I guess I'd like
to see both: generic tools that really can be useful at different ability
levels, AND tools designed specifically to challenge top-end students.
