The game is very different from past educational video games that simply
embedded textbook-like problems into a graphical interface. The games were not
engaging and the math was not particularly integrated into the game. Dimenxian
is an immersive game and the math is integrated deeply into the game in novel
and unexpected ways. We have found that gamers and non-gamers enjoy playing
the game and really learn from it.
