It could be confusing. I think it was clearer after playing with the simulator
to recreate the pictures shown during week #1.  With that exercise, step=step
whether it was for the male runner of the female runner. The picture/graph from
week #1 (and those parameters) were a bit unusual for use with this concept, I
agree.
