I love the idea of:
Algebraic fluency means understanding the connections between GETS- Graphs,
Equations, Tables, and Stories.  A student "GETS" it when they can move fluidly
between all four and dig deep into the connections.

I have not heard the expression of GETS used to explain Algebraic fluency.
Great idea!
