Title:
What’s the Limit?
Teach Derivatives and Antiderivatives Using The Geometer’s Sketchpad
Presented by Scott Steketee
· Learn how you can use dynamic features of Sketchpad 5 to develop the concepts
of derivatives and antiderivatives and reinforce the concept of limit.
· The resulting interactive sketches can stimulate a lively mathematical
discussion.
· The constructions are simple enough that you can challenge your students to
create them from scratch, developing their sense of ownership of the
mathematics.
