Subject:   Olympics as the theme

Math along with science and history and english are wanting to do an integrated
unit with the theme being the Olympics...given that this summer is a major
Olympic year. These 'shared' students are grade 10 and have done or will have
done introductory trig. (right triangle, sine and cosine law) and linear and
quadratic work. They are familiar with using a TI 83. I would of course love to
hear any suggestions or web references re worthwhile, relevant mathematics
activities that could be done related to the Olympics.
