Subject:   Using automatic data capture to graph data vs. time

I'm teaching application of graphs of trig functions in my precalculus class.
TI-Nspire technology seems like a great way to approach the traditional ferris
wheel problems and others of that type.  I'm wondering if there's a way to use
the fact that the automated data capture seems to get data points at regular
intervals to generat a height vs. time graph?  Basically how could I find out
what those regular intervals are?
