such electrical, carpentry, automotive, plumbing, building management, etc. Some
practical problems in those fields that could be places to use the calculator
other than just for number calculations. Maybe a lesson on measurement and
using fractions and decimals. Does anyone have something for the graphing
calculator for helping these students with grasping the fraction-decimal
concept? Any applied math problems that use the graphing calculator would be
appreciated. Is there a lesson on the calc. for direct and inverse variation?
