Subject:   ti89 piecewise functions

Ok so I can do piecewise functions on the ti89 using the | but when I go to
graph them and put them in dot mode, they don't seem to show up right.  When I
do say 5 if x=1 the calculator will put a line at 5 instead of a dot at 1,5 this
something I'm doing wrong?
