Subject:   Assessment and Green Globs
Author: Susan
Date: Mar 17 2003
Green Globs has been around for a long time, but for most teachers it has so
many important elements that make it work, and one of them is the assessment
component.   If the student doesn't get the correct answer, it keeps them at the
same level.  It's easy to see who's having trouble by looking at the level
indicator in the corner of the screen.  Although they don't get a "grade" on
reaching a certain level, it does give both student and teacher feedback, and a
feeling of accomplishment.  The same applies to the game component of Green
Globs...the better they are at drawing lines etc, the higher the score.
