I have a little problem with your request that the student draw the triangle. In
the first problem, I would want the student to draw the triangle whether or not
it is a right triangle. If the student understands SSS, they should be able to
do this.
In both problems, the student would probably need to understand that you are
really asking them to draw a scaled copy of the triangle. (Or maybe you should
just ask for that.) Otherwise, the triangle will not fit on a standard 8.5 inch
by 11 inch piece of paper.
