You may or may not find official research in answer to your question. In my
experience the amount of clock time students spend is less important than the
level of their engagement.
In general an extra 30-45-60 minutes per day, 3–5 days per week, spent on
quality math lessons can make a huge difference IF STUDENTS ARE DOING MOST OF
THE TALKING AND THE THINKING.
