The key is to find that leading edge. That will differ from student to student.
Somehow, the math teacher who sees students for perhaps an hour a day, has to
get to know them individually. Too many of us are stuck with limited contact and
only in a large class setting. If students don't seek us out, we are
handicapped. What have successful teachers learned to do?
