If your students are older and able to answer generic questions like "How do you
remember numbers?" then try:
http://www.chaminade.org/inspire/learnstl.htm has a good test.
If they are younger, and need practical examples of situations, for example, "If
you had to remember a phone number, and you had no paper to note it down on, do
you ..." etc, then this might work:
http://www.engr.ncsu.edu/learningstyles/ilsweb.html
There are many tests out there, and a google search on "learning styles" will
throw up more options.
