I'm not quite clear on your purpose, but there is free and shareware software
available for graphing.  Both of the following are excellent, and intuitive
[easy to learn and use], and useful through high school and some college as
well.

Graphmatica: available from archives.math.utk.edu
This is shareware, but, from my understanding, free if a person can not truly
afford it.  Rather generous, I think.

Graph:  Another good 2D program, entirely free for use.  Available at
www.padowan.dk

Both plot functions and individual sets of points, and do some curve fitting.
Graphmatica is more extensive though, and there are other graphing programs
available from that math archive.
