Freeman and Co in 1979. But as DB mentioned not everything is for everyone. But
that doesnt matter. Whether you love it or hate it or you are somewhere in
between, it IS the best Algebra book ever written. :-) Just do a google search
and I think you will be convinced by most of the reviews that you will find.
