Subject:   Need a spreadsheet to work like a function

I've used oocalc to model the a computation that uses one cell for input, and
one cell for output.  The problem is that a cell can only hold one value at a
time - and this problem is common to both oocalc, excel, and google docs.  I
want to be able to input a series of numbers, and get the results for all of
them, and perhaps graph the result.  

Can any software do this?  I prefer GNU software.
