Subject:   Runners Activity: Some Observations

A few things I noticed and thought were interesting:

1.  Position is used instead of distance.

2.  There are no units for either time or position.

3.  Negative numbers are not used when the runner faces backwards.

4.  The distance between 0 and 10 on the time scale is not the same as the
distance between 0 and 10 on the position scale.  This means that while it is
easy to make parallel lines, it is extremely difficult to make perpendicular
lines.
