conscientious about assessing my students, but here's what I do with my Resource
Specialist Program students.
I have four computers in my room and so I send my students up in "waves" of four
to a particular lesson in this software program from Riverdeep. The students
proceed at their own pace for about 20 minutes and then I send a second wave who
do likewise. While one wave is online, I'm teaching the other wave from the
lesson in their textbooks. They are well-engaged by this change in learning
mode, and look forward to the next session.
