I found this tool to be an excellent visualizer; a quick and easy way to get a
fairly intuitive point. I note, however, that it doesn't work for polygons with
vertices inside a certain radius once you've started.

Geometrically, I know why this is the case, but is there any documentation to
explain or explore this?
