One way to keep from having to write/update web pages is to post assignments
into a calendar which is accessible to parents and students. One such calendar
is called Framecal and is available at
http://curiosityshoppe.tierranet.com/framecal
This is a Perl script which would need to be installed on a server but has the
advantage that it can run either multiple calendars or multiple user calendars
with one program. We use it for team assignments - view at
http://syzygy.virtualave.net/tt3.htm
