Something along the lines of this discussion that might be relevant is a website
called Filamentality <a href=" http://www.kn.pacbell.com/wired/fil/ ">

I believe it is run by SBC. I have not used it personally, but it appears to
offer a turnkey solution to making simple web pages, and is aimed at teachers.
As the website says "Filamentality is more than just a tool that will make a web
page. Filamentality is trying to help you create web pages that encourage real,
active learning."
