| Description: |
The software used with these lessons will typically be used in one of three modes: (1) Classroom Discussion-Demo using an overhead display and software configured either by parameter-setting html documents or manually for classroom demonstration and discussion; (2) Students working activities based on the printed activity sheets, where the activity sheets specify the appropriate software activity to use (which will supply its appropriate configurations); and (3) Students engaged in online Challenge Activities based on software-generated challenges-usually, but not necessarily within a curriculum sequence. - Unit 1: Position Graphs, Velocity And Slope
- Section 1.1: Introducing Position vs. Time Graphs
- Section 1.2: The Two-Way Velocity-Position Connection
- Unit 2: Writing And Comparing Position Functions Algebraically-Equations
- Section 2.1: Algebraic Ways of Writing Position Functions for Constant Velocity Situations
- Section 2.2: Introducing Algebraic Ways of Comparing Two Position Functions for Constant Velocity Situations-Linear Equations
- Section 2.3: Algebraic Approaches to Comparing Two Linear Functions for Constant Rate Situations-Linear Equations
