Description:

Students are given a 3-d view of an object, and then given a 2-d view of the object. Students must choose which of 6 views is being displayed from a list including front view, right side view, left side view, top view, bottom view, and back view. There are 20 different questions and they get progressively more difficult. Students are given immediate feedback.

What did students learn? There was some discussion on right/wrong as a group. When a shape is mirrored, both the right side and the left side can be turned to produce the image. This was only on 2 of the drawings. The discussion was intense!
