Students compare rectangular graphs and polar graphs for functions of the form y = a sin(bx) and r = a sin(b?). Students analyze how the period and amplitude of a Cartesian graph correlate to features of the corresponding polar graph. The link to the tool itself is to a zip file that contains both the sketch and a pdf file of the corresponding activity.
