Comment:The visual impact of establishing the balanced equation first will give more credence to 'solving' by performing operations on both sides of the equation. It will allow the student to investigate and see what the teacher may have introduced.

Comment:This is a great visual especially for my Intensive Basic Skills or non-english speaking students. It will also help my careless students see what happens when they randomly perform operations.

Comment:The resource allows students to set up an equation, and walks them step-by-step through the process of solving an equation. It also allows them to make mistakes and gives them helpful feedback.

Comment:Excellent visual representation of solving equations.
