Description: This model represents the interactions between members of a food chain; in this case, vegetation, rabbits and foxes. This simulation can be used to answer questions such as: What happens when vegetation is eaten to the ground? What if the foxes kill all of the rabbits? Is there a way for this system to reach equilibrium? Through using this model, students explore a variety of conditions whose outcomes lead to an understanding of the dynamics of a food chain.
