Description:

3DSurface Viewer is a small Web application that creates high quality images of 3D surfaces defined by mathematical expressions. The quality of the images and the speed with which they are created compare favorably with any commercial graphing application. Contained on the site are the application as well as complete documentation for developers.

3DSurface Viewer requires Windows with Internet Explorer (4.0 or later). Note that this application requires the installation of an ActiveX component on your computer - full instructions are given on the site.

Comment:This tool is fairly easy to use, and could be useful for students beginning to study functions of the form z = f(x,y).
