| Description: |
Investigate the famous Locker problem. Invent your own version! This applet has a feature that allows students to investigate some of their own versions of the locker problem. For example, instead of the following the sequence 1,2,3,4,... (First person opens every locker, second person every second locker, third person every third locker, etc.) students could look at sequences such as 1,3,5,7,9,... or sequences of even numbers or prime numbers. Are there any sequences that just leave the lockers which are multiples of 10 open? |
