This TI Interactive file is best suited for teacher demonstration. This document allows the user to define a function f(x). The slider bar's values range from [0, 10] with an increment of 1. As the user increments the slider bar, the polynomial, g(x), generated by the Taylor series of n-degree will graph with f(x). The equation for the polynomial g(x) is also displayed. The second graph shows the error or difference in f(x) and g(x). |
