| Description: | This interactive tool is one of a series of tools created by Conceptua Math that are designed for teacher-facilitated instruction. Through the use of this tool, teachers can help students understand the term "common denominator and build the procedural skills for finding a common denominator for two fractions with uncommon denominators. Students learn the value of multiplying a fraction by a fraction with a value of 1 through the use of a variety of models and features such as dragging, hide/show and linking the models to the numbers. The tool works well on an interactive white board and includes a floating number pad for number entry. | ||
