The PCTM Puzzle of the Week - Solutions

Sally is in the middle.  There is a boy at one end and a girl at the other.  
Marcia and George were not mentioned, so they are the ones at the ends.  

          George ????? Sally ????? Marcia

Harry is older than Sally.  There is one place left for Donna.

          George Donna Sally Harry Marcia

Now, guess and check is the way I went.  100/5=20, so each kid gets round-a-bout 
$20 dollars.  

          George Donna Sally Harry Marcia
            $16   $18   $20   $22   $24

And there you have it!! 

20 Sally, 18 Donna, 24 Marcia,
16 George and 22 Harry .

{100-(2+4+6+8)}/5=20 Sally

George is the youngest, then Donna, Sally, Harry and Marcia.
If George receives X , the others receive respectively X+2,X+4,X+6 and X+8
Then 5X+20 = 100 and therefore X = 16 and the solution is 16,18,20,22 and 24.
