Message from the Director: Federal education policies, changing demographics, budget constraints, and shortage of mathematics teachers are but a few of the challenges currently facing mathematics leaders. There are reasons for excitement as well-advances in technology, school-based research, reform efforts, and the public focus on mathematics. Leaders must articulate their vision to all constituencies while managing the challenges and excitement of this time. NCSM must do the same with its membership and the broader mathematics community. I have the experience and expertise to support and enhance the work of NCSM and would be honored to have such an opportunity.

Previous Experience:

Secondary mathematics teacher 25 years - Profile Jr/Sr High School Bethlehem, NH
Twice took a leave of absence to teach for one year each at the University of NH and Plymouth State University
Two years as middle school teacher at The Riverside School in Lyndonville, VT
Will be a teaching Headmaster at The Riverside School next year
