VI. Conclusion
The research led to the following conclusions.
- Fundamental principals of the theory of stage-by-stage development of mental actions can be
easily formalized in organization of computer-oriented instruction, using data bases with proper
interface.
- In computer oriented training it is possible to start instruction from developing actions in
their initial materialized form and also attain a high level of motivation, connected with using
information technologies.
- Development of actions in the written speech form, a necessary element of the theory and
also confirmed by practical experience, cannot be achieved relying predominantly on information
technologies. At this stage the instructor become a critical element of the process being a
facilitator mediator and an active participant of the process. The greatest effect is achieved
through a team work organized and facilitated by the instructor.
- Different types of computer-oriented activities should be used at each stage of instruction.
- These types of activities predetermine the teaching methods and strategy at each stage.
