This is the summary of a presentation given at the Joint Mathematics Meetings, January 10-13, 1996, Orlando, Florida.

In this paper it will be described how Le Moyne College pre-service mathematics teachers are prepared to integrate technologies in their classroom instruction. It will be explained how during a four week period these student teachers are instructed to use graphic calculators (TI-82), commercial mathematical video cassettes and commercial mathematical software including computer algebra systems (MAPLE V). Particular attention will be given in this paper to the hands-on learning activities that these pre-service teachers must engage in as part of their computer training.
