Math Topics/Physics - Connections to the PCMI Theme Summary

Tuesday, July 8, 2003

On Tuesday we all tried to make outlines of our lesson plans so that we could share some drafts with each other on Friday. Nikki and Holly wrote out explicitly what would happen in the first day of their 3-day unit. Beverly and Tom 's group and Rani and Kyle's group made decisions on what they would use as examples in their respective topics and tested examples. Beverly and Tom were using clinometers to get data for parabolic growth, and Rani and Kyle were finding examples that exhibited homogeneous recursive behavior.
