Visualizing Functions Summary

Monday - Friday, July 11 - 15, 2005

The third week saw a flurry of activity as the projects neared completion. The construction of a musical instrument was videotaped as an alternative to written instructions, disease spread was quantified and analyzed, a game was designed to simulate the spread of a disease in the classroom, the conic sections were constructed in a variety of ways using GSP and the Newton's Method project was revised over and over again.

Thursday was spent completing the projects as much as possible and ensuring that the presentation on Friday would encapsulate all the hard work, enthusiasm and mathematics that had gone in to (and continues to go in to) our projects.
