Henri Picciotto*, with help from Michael Abramson, Dave Goodwin, Jim King, Rudy Penczer, Ralph Polley, Debbie Seidell, and Amanda Wallace

Students learn to make and recognize the five simplest knots. The activity involves working with concrete materials, analyzing drawings, and making human models.
