1 1/2 cup butter, softened
2 cups sugar
1 tsp vanilla
5 cups flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
Roll between wax paper to 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch thick.
Stack in fridge to chill at least one hour.
After one hour remove from fridge.
Peel one side of wax paper off the dough.
Dust lightly with flour.
Put wax paper back on.
Flip over. Peel other side of wax paper off the dough.
Cut the cookies out with the cookie cutter.
Bake in a 375° oven for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
