Prepares Future Teachers to Foster Problem Solvers

The Math Forum

The next Group Leader training will begin on April 28, 2008. Email Claire Mead to learn more or register. Or stop at the Math Forum booth (#2425) at NCTM in Salt Lake City.

The Online Mentoring Project is an NSF-funded project. Its goal is to create a dynamic online environment for elementary, middle, and secondary pre-service teachers to mentor students through the Math Forum's Problem of the Week (PoW) environment. This is a unique opportunity for pre-service teachers to focus on how students think and communicate about math before facing the complexities of the classroom.
