Grading Solutions

Grading solutions:

1. Grade each other's weekly textbook homework using a simple rubric with three dimensions: accuracy of answer, communication of solution, completeness of solution.
2. Students are then introduced to the Oregon Scoring Guide (used on the open-ended problems on the state standardized tests). This rubric has 5 dimensions:

• Conceptual Understanding
• Processes and Strategies
• Verification
• Communication
• Accuracy
