Constructing Diverse Quadrilaterals - March 27-31, 1995
"Hey Natalie! What's your group doing in class tomorrow?" asked Jerome.
"We're supposed to construct a quadrilateral with four congruent sides."
"That's it?" chimed in Robert. "We've gotta do a quadrilateral where the diagonals are perpendicular bisectors of each other. How 'bout you, Dennis?"
"We're supposed to construct a quadrilateral whose diagonals bisect the angles. Jerome?"
"We're doing a four-sided parallelogram with congruent consecutive sides."
"Cool!" exclaimed Natalie. "Just like the weather recently, it sounds like we have a lot of variety! These are days when geometry starts to look like a lot of fun!"
"Yeah," said Dennis. "I can't wait to talk tomorrow about what we all constructed!"
