    Alley Hoop - June 6-10, 1994

Jenny and Jesse want to set up a basketball hoop to practice their foul shooting. The only place they have available is an alley 10 feet wide. They find two ladders, one 20 feet long, and the other 30 feet long. They lean the ladders against the buildings so that the ladders intersect as in the picture at the right. They hang their hoop where the ladders intersect. How high is the hoop?
